Iconoclasts = Enlightened Celebrity TV
Iconoclasts is a show on the Sundance Channel. It’s one of the best shows on TV. Ie now seen every episode in the 4 seasons. It pairs two celebrities in different genres and follows them for a few days. The two ”icons” essentially interview each other on their life, career, passions and what helps them key balance or find success. What I love about it is it takes you deeper into the lives of highly successful people and the people aren’t always your traditional celebrity that is here today gone tomorrow. It’s people who have deomstrated long-term success. Some of my favorite episodes were:
- Isabella Rossellini + Dean Kamen
- Stella McCartney + Ed Ruscha
- Cameron Diaz + Cameron Sinclair
- Mike Myers + Deepak Chopra
- Madeleine Albright + Ashley Judd
